The Art Of Selling Via E-mail Marketing Campaigns

Is your opt-in e-mail marketing campaigns driving sales and traffic, or driving your subcribers to opt-out? As we all know when promoting or selling a product to a new prospect it is 4-5 times more expensive than a subsequent sale. Did you know that it takes 7-8 contacts with a prospect before they decide to buy from you? The reason for this is that they are in the stages of so what, who cares, and what’s in it for me. Nowadays, people are really cautious with their money, who they believe, and who they trust. If a prospect has agreed to give you their e-mail in exchange for valuable information that you have then you need to honor that and over deliver that promise each and every time. With the competition that exist today and so many marketing verticals all selling the same thing or just about the same thing, it’s easy to slip between the cracks and not be paid attention to at all. You need to stand out and get through these barriers to be successful with online e-mail marketing.

Which Marketing Strategy Category Do You Fall Into?

Short and simple type without offering any values just a affiliate link Bizzare and strange with a great deal of swearing and deameaning (i.e. you must be stupid not to take advantage of this)In the middle type a combination of both.

Which one are you? The next question would be, so how do I keep my subscribers interested?

In order to keep your subcribers interested, get them to buy products and/or participate in offers, and drive traffic; you need an e-mail marketing strategy that’s so powerful and compelling that your subscribers will gladly make a folder in their inbox just for you. How to have a effective marketing campaign that your subcribers will feast on and even have them ready to purchase from you is quite simple.

Part 1:It’s not all about the headline although it is apart of the process, it’s all about the content underneath the headline. Having said that, your content needs to keep the reader’s attention and keep it all the way to the end. Don’t change your concept, outline, or style. All you have to do is make sure your content and presentation is just what they wanted. It’s always best to be creative– be you, but don’t over do it where it distracts and/or annoy them.

Part 2:Originality, creativity, and light-hearted content is key. With the everyday stress that so many of us deal with, no one wants to open a e-mail that adds more stress to their lives with pushy sales tactics when all they wanted was some information that you promised them. Now don’t take this the wrong way you can still give information and insert promotional material but do it in a way that piques interest and relates to their problem on a more emotional level.

Part 3:Do you ever get tired of seeing the same old e-mails that’s just text? I know I do and if you do as well then imagine how your subscribers feel. Add some color. Nothing to bright or dull, a color that catches their attention. Photographs along with articles that will keep them interested and in the mood to find out more is also key. You want it so they glue their eyes to your article and read every word in it. This can be done in newsletters, promotional materials, and plain old articles. Also make your photo match the headline. Some people insert photos based around the content which is fine. If you do this it reinforces the headline and makes them want to read the rest of the content.

Part 4:I want to empahsize quality content. This means content that’s not copy and pasted that easily can be found on the internet. If you can, try to hire a writer to do some autoresponders for you and see the effect it has on your subscribers. Breathtaking! If you decide to take this route, be sure your writer establishes believeabiliy and integrity about you in the article. Also be sure that your true self shines and stands out and not business-like. Talk to them not at them and make sure it’s educating and fun.

Part 5:The content of your article should sell the concepts of your product not only the product itself. Get your subscriber to understand that the product will solve their problem not just a list a benefits and features. Don’t be to over persuasive but just enough to lead them to your offer or website to learn more about the product and/or offer.

Part6:Know what your subcriber needs before they ask. Answer all questions and objectives that may arise and they will thank you for it. It leaves no room for doubt about if the product/and or offer is right for them. Make sure you are concise with your prodcut and don’t leave them hanging leaving them wanting more or wanting to learn more.

To remove your subscribers from the unsubscribe line then following this six part system will get that turn around in no time. The art of selling by e-mail is a marketing strategy that needs to be constructed, learned, and mastered. The profits that lie within e-mail marketing can without a doubt make you a full-time job with overtime annaul salary in just a few weeks and even days.
