It seems equal parts Jack Kirby and MAD Magazine, which is about as good as comic art gets.

The stories that accompany the passages are entertaining enough, but they’re primarily there as illustration, to show us Sun Tzu’s words in action. Overall, the comic book is quick and easy to read and will give you a firm understanding of The Art of War.
